The widely known and lusted after Cartier LΘVE bracelet was designed in 1969 by Aldo Cipullo, who was inspired by chastity belts worn by women in Medieval times.

So what makes the Love bracelet so iconic, anyhow? This unique (and expensive) bracelet has certain details that make it stand out amongst the crowd, including:
- The way it fastens: With a lack of a traditional clasp that is easy to get on and off, the iconic bracelet has two halves that come apart only with the use of its own mini screwdriver (and the help of a second person) which is perhaps characteristic to its name and usually means the wearer doesn't take it off much.

Starter versions of the Cartier Love bracelet come in pink or yellow gold and pricing starts around $1,630 — but these bracelets do not have the iconic fastening system. Instead, they have a simple clasp, easily allowing the wearer to take them off and on.
